The Vans Ultrarange Neo VR3 is the ultimate “Off The Wall '' exploration shoe, a direct product of feedback from Vans Surf athletes who needed a go-anywhere, do-anything silhouette for their travels. Thanks to its unique ethos and athlete-driven design, it’s become a prime choice for consumers with dynamic lifestyles as well. Now, as part of the Spring 2024 line, it’s entering a new chapter with a duo of fresh colorways that are upgraded, updated, and enhanced — essentially taking everything that wearers already loved about the model and dialing it up to 10.
Arriving in unisex “Light Green/Black” and “Yellow/Multi” colorways, the reinvented Ultrarange Neo VR3 features a new last shape that improves fit and contour without altering the look, as well as an altered arch cradle for extra support. It’s not just a fit upgrade either: if you look closely at the midsole, you’ll notice the molded embellishments are an abstract iteration of our famed checkerboard pattern. The shoe receives the Vans Checkerboard Globe designation, meaning it follows strict footwear materials guidelines for all major components. The Ultrarange Neo VR3 consists of regenerative, sustainably sourced, renewable and/or recycled materials: lightweight and breathable uppers are made of 100% recycled PET, midsoles are constructed from at least 50% bio-based EVA foam and outsoles, offering a progressive iteration of Vans’ classic waffle traction feature at least 60% regeneratively grown natural rubber.
The ultimate adventure sneaker deserves equally adaptable apparel, so the reimagined Vans Ultrarange Neo VR3 is accompanied by a selection of go-anywhere garments. Highlights of the accompanying apparel collection include the reversible Rosewood vest plus a double-knit mock neck and short set, with other pieces including a climbing short, camp cap, woven short-sleeve t-shirt and cotton tank top, each in an outdoors-geared color palette that matches the footwear.
